About me and this blog

I have widely varied interests - crazy wide. I use to think this was a bad thing and I simply couldn't concentrate on anything for very long - now I don't. Now I accept that I'm curious and interested and simply enjoy what I'm doing at the time and go with the flow. I admire creative people, I love colour, working with animals, travelling and sailing....whew! Oh and did I mention costume design...

I started this blog when I started sewing again after a long break. On diving back in I discovered the fabulous world of sewing vintage styled clothes and vintage patterns. This blog is my attempt to learn more and apply it to modern living. Other sewing and fashion items finds it's way into the post as well.
